32 weeks (8 months)

How far along? 32 weeks or 8 months! Total weight gain/loss: 15 pounds Maternity clothes? Wearing mostly maternity clothes or my bigger clothes. Stretch marks? Nope. Best moment this week: Working on getting the room put together. I can’t wait until it’s done! Miss Anything? Walking and hiking. I am hoping I will get cleared to exercise again after my next ultrasound. Movement: The movements continue to get stronger and more frequent. Food cravings: Nothing that I don’t normally eat. Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope. Have you started to show yet: Yes. Gender: It’s a girl! Labor Signs: I think Braxton Hicks have started. My tummy get’s really tight like it’s contracting off and on throughout the day. Belly Button in or out? Almost out. Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Looking forward to: Next ultrasound June 7th! Hopefully we will get some good 3D pictures.

30 Weeks

How far along? 30 weeks Total weight gain/loss: 13 pounds Maternity clothes? Wearing mostly maternity tops, but still wearing some of my pre-maternity pants with the belly band. Stretch marks? Nope. Best moment this week: Seeing her move around on the ultrasound. She had her hands in front of her face so we didn’t get a good face shot. Miss Anything? Shopping for cute summer clothes rather than maternity clothes. Movement: The movements continue to get stronger and more frequent. Food cravings: Nothing that I don’t normally eat. Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope. Have you started to show yet: Yes. Gender: It’s a girl! Labor Signs: Nope. Belly Button in or out? In. Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Looking forward to: Next ultrasound in 4-6 weeks! Hopefully we will get a good face shot.

29 week ultrasound

Gregory and I went to our 29 week ultrasound and OB appointment yesterday. I was really hoping to get some good ultrasound pictures and be able to post them, but none of the ones she gave us were even worth posting. 'Baby B' had her hands in front of her face, so we didn't get a good face shot. She weighs about 3.5 pounds as of now. The ultrasound tech said her heart, spine, liver and kidneys looked good. She is still measuring about a week ahead, but I don't think they will change my due date as of now. She is head down, but still has room to move around. I have what is called a low lying placenta or marginal previa. Bascially the placenta is partially covering my cervix. If I went into labor anytime soon, I would probably have to have an emergency C-section since I would be at risk for hemorraging. They said that the placenta should move up on it's own eventually and I should be able to have a regular delivery, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that she goes full term and the placenta moves. We go to the doctor every 2 weeks now and I will have another ultrasound in 4-6 weeks to check once again if the placenta has moved. Hopefully with the next ultrasound, I will get better pictures.
